How do I set up a report for SA work status sorted by client name?

To set up a report that shows the tax return status of all clients sorted by client name, rather than by filing status, follow these instructions:

1. Open Practice Manager.
2. Select Report Manager from the left-hand menu.
3. Double-click on Current SA Tax Return work status.
4. Select Report Information from the left-hand menu.
5. Edit the Report Name to include by surname (or something relevant).
6. Click on Continue to Report Customisation.
7. Under Sort by, select Client Name from the drop-down menu.
8. Optional: select Filed to HMRC date under Columns Available and click on Add >>.
9. Click on Continue to Finish.
10. Click on Finish and Save.
