How to send a manual Health check

In order to diagnose certain issues it may be necessary to send TaxCalc a Health Check. Normally this is done from inside the program. If, however, you cannot open the program, you can send a Health Check manually

WINDOWS ONLY

  • Click on your Windows logo > All Programs > TaxCalc Hub > Support Tools > Health Check

If the start menu entry is not present open File Explorer and navigate to the following location and run the Healthcheck.bat file:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Acorah Software Products\TaxCalcHub

Or for 32bit systems the file can be found in :

  • C:\Program Files\Acorah Software Products\TaxCalcHub

This will then open a command prompt window (black box), which will then close. Once this has happened:

  1. Click Start > Search (7/8/8.1/10)
  2. Type %temp%
  3. Press Enter

This will open a window. Look for the file HealthCheck.zip and then send a copy of this file to us via email to support@taxcalc.com. This file will allow us to investigate how and why your problem occurred.
